30 Sec alarm delay doenst delay?

Hi, i am setting my “Away” mode with a Zipato rfid keypad and it works very well, but just after i have set my keypad to away and entered the pin, i get an sms and push from vera that the hall movement sensor was tripped, just after a few seconds, despite i have set 30sec delay in Vera.
The siren isn’t triggered so it isn’t a full scale tripped alarm.

Why does vera do this and how do i prevent it?

Reset everything and check your settings.
Are you sure that you didn’t set the delay to 3 sec instead of 30?
Set the delay to 180 seconds (3 minutes) and see if that changes anything.
Log into your Vera and then operate the keypad while watching the Vera and see if it delays to your timeout before it switches to Away.
