2 VERA2 in one network, One is Primary ; Another is Secondary

Hi All,

Can I setup 2 VERA2 in one network which one VERA2 is primary and another VERA2 is secondary? I want to have one VERA2 on each floor of two-storey house.

TIA

Yes, and you can read more about this here:

@mcvflorin,

Bridging is between multiple primary controllers, i.e. multiple, separated Z-Wave networks, correct?

@oTi@
Yes, that is correct.

@alexlui
Does one of the Veras must really be secondary? Or any setup with two Veras could work as well?

Thanks guys.

Any setup would be fine as my objective is to make the z-wave network be more reliable.

Also, Re: Bridging networks. The instructions are not entirely accurate.

There are no limitations on importing other MIOS systems
Actually there are limitations. The RAM of the importing controller.
